I have never been one to make resolutions for the new year. If I ever did, I probably—definitely—did not follow through. Maybe it is all the videos I have seen on Booktube, or maybe it is just that I really want to have some goals for the coming year, but regardless the reason, I have decided that now is the perfect time to establish some goals. I have been getting really into making lists lately, specially due to the 1.5 seconds of satisfaction I get when I am finally able to cross it out. So here is what I intend to do in the coming year.
1. Read 60 books
2. Complete one established reading challenge
3. Finish five book series
4. Read all 33 books I already own
5. Read The Hobbit & LOTR
6. Read five classics
7. Read a book by Stephen King
8. Read two books in Spanish
9. Read (?) one audiobook
10. Never own more than fifty unread books
10. Write—just write
11. Post at least one blog post per week
12. Post at least one book review per month
13. Go to book events
14. Keep up with Booktube
15. Balance reading with life
I am well aware that 15 goals are a lot to work for, but I really would love to fulfill every one of them. If possible, I would love to surpass some of them—60 books just doesn't seem like enough. I can't wait to see how the year shapes up.
Happy New Year!
